Memory Quilt

A beautiful handmade quilt, each star or heart made from your chosen clothing items capturing memories to last a lifetime.

Each quilt is backed with your colour choice of fleece fabric to add softness and warmth.
Fleece backing and binding options can be requested at the checkout.

Each individual panel measures approximately 25cm x 25cm, this listing is for 16 panels in a 4x4 grid measuring a total of 1m x 1m. Depending on size of clothing items 8-16 pieces will need to be posted to myself for me to start building the quilt, please plan for up to 3 weeks once the clothes have arrived with me before the quilt is posted back to you.

If you have ordered additional items which don't require customisation they will be posted out as soon as the order is received.

Ailsa here, No 2 daughter of the Old Wooden Lady! (We all have numbers!)
I am a trained teacher, currently full time home educator to a wonderful family and online tutor to some amazing children, I love teaching as much as I love sitting in front of my sewing machine or cutting mat.

Here on the website you will find a selection of some of the things I enjoy making. I am a bit of an eco-warrior and love to make reusable versions of items that would usually end up in landfill. Bunting is something that I am very passionate about…the amount of parties I have been to where all the decorations get swept into the bin at the end!! I love the idea of children getting excited to see the special Christmas or birthday bunting go up each year, like I did as a child!
